I'm Guillermo Paredes — owner, operator, and the Master Electrician behind every JEEC Electric project. After serving in the U.S. Navy, I entered the electrical trade in 1998 and spent nearly three decades mastering my craft before founding JEEC Electric.

What started as a commitment to honest, high-quality electrical work has grown into a trusted family business serving more than 20 communities across Sarasota and Manatee Counties. My wife manages our client communications and office operations, making JEEC truly a family-run company.

I hold Florida Electrical Specialty Contractor License ES12001543 — active since 2013 — and I'm a Factory-Trained Generac & Kohler Technician and SPAN Authorized Installer. Every project is performed personally under my license, not handed off to a subcontractor.

1994

U.S. Navy Service

Guillermo serves honorably in the United States Navy, developing the discipline, precision, and accountability that would define his career.

1998

Entered the Electrical Trade

After returning to civilian life, a neighbor named Charlie encouraged Guillermo to enter the electrical trade — a conversation that changed everything. Guillermo began as an electrical apprentice, wiring homes across the Tampa Bay, Manatee, and Sarasota area.

2013

Florida ES License Obtained

Guillermo earns Florida Electrical Specialty Contractor License ES12001543 — his Master Electrician credentials now fully formalized and active statewide.

2017

JEEC Electric Founded

JEEC Electric, LLC is officially established in Sarasota, FL. The name stands for Jesús Es El Camino — a reflection of the faith that guides the business.
